Dear NGO,
As you know, next May 22 regional elections are held and local, from CODOPA want to put the front line demands of the campaign "CHOOSE People First, the crisis is no excuse. ELECTS more solidarity, less poverty." This campaign is being carried out from all the coordinators of each region. On our website you can check the materials and practice the ten demands.
As you know much is at stake in this election as organizations and civil society movements. Since the outbreak of the so named "crisis", we have reported over and over again, the real causes of it, and above all, the devastating effects of the actions that various governments have implemented. We hit the streets to show our dissatisfaction and position against the rights and welfare cuts.
From the Board of CODOPA are convinced that we must now redouble our efforts and bring to the political class the direction we want to continue from now.
In recent weeks, the Board of CODOPA has met with several parties to attend these elections to send you our demands, as summarized in the Decalogue.
Now is the time to convey our demands to the public so we will carry out various actions under the slogan "Who pays the bill for the crisis? The central objective is that each person at the time of voting, you do thinking about those options that include the demands of caring candidate, ie do not pay the "duck" in the crisis who are not responsible for the same.
This will make the following actions:
- "Duck Ad: We'll ducklings leaving various parts of Asturias, these ducks have a label that says" Friday 6 May at 19.00. Paseo de Begoña - Gijon. The purpose is to draw attention to those who find them. Our main intention is to create expectations about what is going to make that day, without disclosing the activity itself.
